Ils veulent être libres. \nDéconnecter des flux\, des réseaux\, de la toile. Grisés de certitudes et d’alcool\, ils en sont sûrs : un monde sans attaches numériques est possible. Convaincus d’entrer ainsi en résistance\, ils détruisent carte d’identité et cartes de crédit. D’un coup de ciseaux\, les deux « héros » rompent effectivement avec leur monde pour se retrouver\, malgré eux\, plongés dans un western. \nA l’heure où les trains postaux et l’installation des lignes télégraphiques dessinent les prémices de ce système qu’ils cherchaient à fuir. Dans un monde brutal où aller de l’avant signifie simplement survivre. Quelque part entre Candide et Il était une fois la révolution\, ils vont devoir trouver leur voie. \nCoup de cœur du dernier festival des Grandes Gueules à Trois-Pistoles\, ce spectacle est présenté pour une première fois en Gaspésie. \n– \nLeaning on the counter of a Montreal country bar\, two men\, Achille\, a Breton\, and François\, a Québecer\, remake the world as well as they empty glasses. They want to be free. \nDisconnect streams\, networks\, web. Drunk with certainty and alcohol\, they are sure of it: a world without digital ties is possible. Convinced to enter the resistance\, they destroy identity cards and credit cards. With a scissors\, the two “heroes” actually break with their world to find themselves\, despite themselves\, immersed in a western. \nAt a time when the postal trains and the installation of the telegraph lines draw the first fruits of this system which they sought to flee. In a brutal world where moving forward simply means surviving. Somewhere between Candide and Once Upon a Revolution\, they will have to find their way. \nA favorite of the last Grandes Gueules festival in Trois-Pistoles\, this show is presented for the first time in Gaspésie.
